Chapter Philanthropy and Service

The responsibility to serve has long held an important place in the hearts of Tri Deltas. This commitment to civic engagement and responsibility is reflected in the Fraternity's philanthropic activities and service opportunities.

Since the early 1970s, Tri Delta's chosen philanthropy has been Children's Cancer Charities. This philanthropic cause encompasses a wide array of charitable organizations and represents the collective effort of Tri Delta's members and chapters across the United States and Canada who continue to donate goods, volunteer time, and host fund-raisers for the research and treatment of children with cancer.

Care Affair

The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter has been raising funds for CURE Childhood Cancer since the early 1970s. The first Care Affair gala/auction was held in 1983, and since then, we have raised more than 2.2 million dollars for CURE Childhood Cancer and the Tri Delta Foundation!  Members are encouraged to support this fundraising effort by working on the committee, attending the annual gala, donating a product or service to the auction, or by bidding in the online auction. St. Jude Give Thanks Walk

Tri Delta's partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital allows chapters the option to help on a national level while continuing to support local causes. Since beginning the partnership in 1999, Tri Delta has raised more than 27 million dollars. The St. Jude Give thanks. Walk.is held each November, and this exciting, family-friendly event helps raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter raised over $4000 last year in our second year of participating in the walk! With your help, we can top that this year!
